Kaleb's Blessing

Yesterday we blessed Kaleb. It was so nice to have our family there. Tim's brother Kevin happened to be down from Vancouver so it was really nice to have him there.

My cute little family!

Kaleb and Grandma and Grandpa Wolfley.

Grandma and Grandpa Romeril.

Uncle Kevin and Stephen.

Aunt Brittney, Uncle Matt and Rachel.

Kevin and Stephen were a big hit with the kids. They brought Kinder Suprises and the kids had lots of fun playing with the toys.

I've been trying to get a good picture of Kaleb with his eyes open. Every time I click he pulls a funny face.

I think this one is really funny!

Jane absolutely loves Kaleb and she is always trying to give him hugs and kisses and hold him. He looks so big on her lap!

Sweet kisses. . .

. . .and hugs!

Tim was holding Kaleb for me and Jane decided to get comfortable. She's using Kaleb as a pillow.

Great Husband and Other Recent Stuff

I have the best Husband in the world! Yesterday he was feeling particularly thankful for our marriage so he brought me home some flowers! He also got the little flower for Jane and the sock monkey for Kaleb. He couldn't have picked a better day to do it either because yesterday was a really hard day for me so it really cheered me up to see him walk through the door with flowers! Thanks Tim! I love you so much!As you can see, Jane really likes her flower. The ribbon in her hair was tied around her flower, but she really wanted it in her hair today. She was so excited when I put it in that she had to look at it in every mirror in the house.
Tim with his adorable two kids! Wow, that's crazy! Two kids!!!

Jane being silly.

I thought this was so cute when I saw her walking out. She very carefully put her tea set together and was walking out very slowly so they didn't fall off. I can't believe how big she is getting!

Tim's brother Kevin sent this cozy little bear suit for Kaleb and I think it's so cute! Jane likes it too and whenever he wears it she points at him and says, "Kaleb bear."

He's so sweet! Since we've come home from the hospital he's been a really good baby. He's getting chubbier all the time and he's doing great! In the hospital he stopped breathing twice and went all blue. It really scared me and Tim, but hasn't happened since, thank goodness! Jane absolutely adores him. I have a hard time keeping her away from him. She just wants to hug and kiss him all the time. She is such a good big sister!

This is my sister Kelltie's new little boy Dane and Kaleb's new best friend, even though they haven't met yet. She had him on Feb 4. I'm so excited that she has a little boy so close to Kaleb. It will be so have to have our little girls and our little boys so close in age! Now we just need to be able to get together! I love her so much and I'm so glad everything went well with her labor. Congratulations Kelltie! He's such a cutie!

Kaleb Ross Wolfley

He finally came! Here's the story. Last Thursday I was just sitting on the couch waiting for Tim to get home from class when I started to feel warm liquid seeping into my pants. I franticly threw Mavrick off me and ran to the bathroom, realizing my water just broke. I tried to call Tim and when he didn't answer I started to panick and called my Mom who was in Minneapolis visiting my sister Kelltie. I started to cry because I wasn't ready to have him. I was still planning on another week. I finally got a hold of Tim and he got home shortly after that. I wasn't having any contractions yet so my midwife said I didn't have to go to the hospital right away if I didn't want to. I still hadn't eaten dinner yet so I grabbed something really quick, we packed Jane a bag for the night, woke her up and took her down to Tim's mom's house before we went to the hospital. The not so fun part about all this is when my water broke, it didn't all come out at once so when we got to Tim's parents house and I got out of the car, more water came out everywhere. Luckily I had my bag I was taking to the hospital to put on some dry pants. At Tim's parents house, Tim gave me a blessing, which really helped to calm my nerves. I'm so glad I have a husband who can do that for me. We then rushed down to the hospital since my contractions were starting. When I got out of the car again more water came out. I was so embarrased it might look like I peed my pants. When they got me all hooked up to the monitors, it said my contractions were 1-2 minutes apart, so I started thinking that this was going to go by really fast. I was wrong. I started doing my hypnobirthing and waited. Meanwhile, anytime I moved or Kaleb kicked, more water came out. I was just leaking constantly all night. Finally around 2 in the morning, my contractions started to get more intense and also moved around to my back. This started bringing back memories of when I was in labor with Jane and how much it hurt and I started to get nervous again. I was still only dialated to a 6, so I had a little ways to go, so I decided to get an epidural. I have to say, that is probably the weirdest feeling I have ever experienced. After that kicked in Tim and I were able to take a little nap. When I woke up, I could no longer move my legs. I think the nurses thought I was a little crazy because I kept laughing and saying how weird it all was. Finally around 7:30, they checked me and said I was complete and by 7:45 Friday morning, January 16, with just a couple pushes, Kaleb was born. He was 9 lbs and 19 inches long. He looked so cute because his limbs and everything were all short but he was so chubby! Even his shoulders had rolls! I loved it! I was feeling so good too. I couldn't believe how different it was getting an epidural. I'm still really glad that I went natural with Jane. I was really glad to have that experience. But with Kaleb everything was so much easier! I'm so happy to finally have Kaleb in our home. He is loved by so many. Jane thinks he is great. This morning when I went to take a shower I moved him from his swing and went to take him by the bathroom so I could hear him if he cried and Jane was so upset that I was taking him away! She really loves her new brother. So far she hasn't had too many fits that she isn't getting enough attention, but I've been lucky enough to have Tim home with me all week so we'll see how things go when he goes back to work.

Right after he was born. Still a little gunky.

After they got him cleaned up.

Being silly already.

The poor little guy has no neck.

Jane's first time meeting her new brother.

She likes to give him hugs.

Honking his nose.

Tim was messing with him and gave him a new nose.

Kaleb and his daddy!

Getting ready to go home.

Sleeping at home. He's so sweet!

Barnyard Boo

Today we had lots of fun! We took Jane down to Thanksgiving point where they had some activities going on for Halloween!

She got her face painted! I was surprised at how well she held still.

My cute little kitty cat!

She loved petting the animals.

We also went on a wagon ride.

"Dad! This is so cool!"

Petting the mini donkey.

The clown made her some beautiful wings.
She loved feeding the horses. She liked them so much she even gave them kisses!

Feeding the goats. They had some teeny tiny little ones! They were so cute!
That white goat is one of the really little ones. He had to fight the sheep to get some food.
This was just from earlier this week. She likes to watch the Wiggles while I'm in the shower and this particular morning she asked to be up on the couch. I though it was cute.
This was from my work party at Lagoon. Jane got sick of walking and we got sick of carrying her, so we got all the ice out of the cooler and put her in! She thought it was pretty cool. We got a lot of laughs from everybody we walked past.
